Kansas City

I am actively involved in my city in a variety of ways – including playing as an upright bassist for various area orchestras, assisting with area library programs and events, and remaining actively involved in my church.

I currently play upright bass regularly for the Baker University Orchestra and as needed for the Philharmonia of Kansas City.

In the recent past, I volunteered in the Missouri Valley Room archives at the Kansas City Public Library, interned as librarian for the Jackson County Juvenile Detention Center library, and attended events through the Kansas City Public Library’s Digital Media Lab. I also continue to attend the yearly Kansas Library Association conference.

I am a member of Christ Community Evangelical Free Church – and I attend services at the Olathe, Downtown, and Shawnee campuses, volunteer as a children’s storyteller when possible, and attend their yearly Common Good of Kansas City conference.
