Analog Gaming

Since I was young, I have always been enthralled by quality board games – Pandemic, Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride, Dominion, Puerto Rico, Smallworld, Avalon, History of the World, Alchemists, Dixit, and Bandu are some of my current favorites.

Currently, I work as a library assistant at MidAmerica Nazarene University’s Mabee Library – the home of the Centre for Games & Learning. During my tenure at MNU, I collaborated to create an extensive annotated bibliography on the subject of using analog gaming for learning and education. This bibliography will be published online at the end of the year.

On my own, I am continuing to research the potential of using boardgames to facilitate learning – both through the college classroom and through informal learning opportunities.
